Love Hard and Glorify

Grace, my wonderful church, just spent a week in LA. We built a shed, sanded stairs, put on VBS, cleared a field, and babysat. We witnessed to the homeless, sang karaoke on skid row, sweat while playing basketball, and washed dishes. It was great. The students blew me away with their hard work and sacrifice. They were joyful in all circumstances and loved everyone we ran into. Through their suffering and sacrifice, Christ transformed their hearts, minds, and attitudes, and they were joyful. They worked hard, played hard, and loved hard. Souls were saved. God was glorified. And thats what really matters. Whatever you do, please love hard and glorify the Lord.
