Honduras

Honduras has become my fourth home this year. After spending two more weeks there this summer, my mom keeps saying and I keep wondering if maybe someday it will become a permanent home. Only God knows where He will take us, but we are trying to be aware as to which direction, or which country, He is taking us in. I find it amazing that people united under one Lord and Savior can have such meaningful relationships considering that we only spent a total of four weeks with them over two years. The kids are adorable and are overcoming saddening pasts. The adults are inspiring and obedient. Many have completely left their homes for Rancho Ebenezer in order to care for these blessed souls that the Lord literally snatched out of the world's hands. My family didn't decide to go to Honduras this year until a few weeks before we left, but I am so glad we went. Every time I go on a mission's trip, I come back feeling like I have been blessed more than I was able to give. The feeling is the same today.

Little Memories:
-Falling asleep with seven lightning bugs buzzing overhead
-All the little ones calling me "Megatron!" all day long
-Getting bitten fifty times by mosquitos
-Soccer in the mud and rain, everyday
-Testimonies of how house parents made it to Rancho Ebenezer
-Testimonies of the Lord saving the little guys from the streets
-Discovering who each kid was, their personality, likes, quirks...
-Honduran food: tortillas, pupusas, zuka, fried plantains
-Bonfire with bilingual worship
