Israel Update 4

The Wailing Wall. About a week ago we went on a New Testament Walk through Jerusalem and made a lot of amazing stops, but right now I feel like talking about the Wailing Wall. It is a lot bigger than I imagined. It is segregated so that men and women will not be a distraction during prayer. It is crowded. It is heart-breaking and challenging. As you look over the bowed and covered heads of women, reading and praying fervently, as they rock back and forth, your heart breaks. I walked up to the wall and couldn't help but tear up. These people are so sincere, yet so lost. They want to know the Lord so badly, but have not heard or accepted the truth. All I could do as I stood there was look at all the different backs and pray for all of them. I was challenged by them though. Their fervency, sincerity, love, focus, and dedication is something I lack often and should long for more.
