Anna Wilson is my roommate and we are like a married couple already. Using each others stuff without asking, making sure we don't forget things, checking in on each other, and making each other coffee in the morning. Its great. She is such an encourager and never brings you down. You can't help, but laugh when you are with her and neither of us are morning people. We both push the snooze button too many times in the morning and stay up too late at night.
Thankfully Sierra Anne is only two doors down. She too makes coffee and has become our third adopted roommate. Every night she is reading us Jane Eyre, no matter how late it is or how heavy our eyelids are. She is the queen of doing hair and has braided my hair for almost every hike and adventure we go on. She is also the mother of IBEX. She did a very good job at taking care of me while I was sick.
Cameron is here with me too. We see each other everyday because we see everyone everyday. We make sure to take picturesque photos together for our mom's sake and I run to him and complain when I don't feel well. He is way better at this kind of school than I am. I think the best moments are when we are beating each other up at an amazing Biblical sight here in Israel.
Bill Schlegel takes us on all our field trips and is the teacher of Land and Bible. He does a lot more than that though. He has five kids who are awesome and his wife is wonderful too. She took care of me when I was sick and is a wonderful cook. He youngest daughter Sara is way too cute. Bill knows so much about Israel. I feel like we could listen to him for years straight and still not hear all he has to say, let alone remember it all. I feel so blessed to have such, caring knowledgable teachers here.
Praise the Lord for His Holy land!
